Self-Discovery

Membership

Self-responsibility

A serene space for self-discovery, it's designed for introspection and growth with soft lighting and calming scents. Time slows, fostering self-reflection, and it invites a multisensory journey to connect with thoughts and emotions.

Whether a room or a cozy nook, it's a refuge for personal exploration and self-expression.

A registration on the website of Independent Indigenous Festival gives you a chance to become a member of the community and therefore operates as a ticket for Independent Indigenous Festival.

Every member is encouraged to embark on their evolutionary journey.

Self-responsibility in shared outdoor events mandates respecting and preserving the environment as found. Participants must manage their waste, belongings, and safety, abiding by the 'leave no trace' philosophy.

Safety is a shared priority, with everyone looking out for each other and checking in on each other. Open communication prevails, creating a harmonious atmosphere.

Evolving

Leave No Trace

Free Of Judgement

In our community, we prioritize personal growth on spiritual, emotional, and physical levels. We believe lasting change happens through ongoing evolution and active participation. Each member is urged to embark on their own journey of growth and to find happiness in exploration. Together, we strive to create a more genuine world through heartfelt actions.

In our community, environmental respect is key. We vow to leave no trace, aiming to improve the places we visit. After the Independent Indigenous Festival, there should be no visible evidence of our event. Please take back everything you brought, including waste, and pick up any litter you find to preserve our shared spaces' beauty.

In a realm beyond judgments, imagine a space where conversations flow freely, adorned with affirmations echoing kindness. Soft hues and welcoming furnishings set the scene, creating a haven where expressions are genuine and met with understanding. Here, judgmental language is replaced by supportive vibes, fostering a celebration of diversity woven into the collective narrative with respect and acceptance.

"I’ll always remember the day I met Christel. I was attending a significant celebration — the independence festivities of the Kuna Yala people.

Knowing that our presence there was a privilege, we had made the journey with a sense of honor. Christel wasn’t just a visitor; she spent months living with the Kuna Yala people, all part of a documentary she’s directing.

She’s got a unique vision that includes indigenous people of Kuna Yala, Lapland, and brings together many talents, artists, musicians and thinkers.

The Independent Indigenous Festival promises to be an unforgettable experience."

"With a decade-long career, I've organized major festivals like Fusion, Waking Life, Garbicz, and Sarab Project.

My expertise in event management and artist booking ensures smooth execution of large-scale events. During the Sarab Project, I met Christel Elsayah in 2019, fostering my passion for cultural diversity.

I'm eager to contribute to the Independent Indigenous Festival, aligning with its mission to celebrate indigenous heritage."

I met Christel playing chess at the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi in the North Pole, Sweden. I was there for my art work, creating and sculpting one of the ice rooms for the opening season, december 2023.

She had been in the North a few month for her documentary project which caught my attention and curiosity.

I felt very inspired about her journey and film project that she is organizing at Independent Indigenous Festival. She asked me if I wanted to co-create an art installation and without a hesitation I signed up to this gathering that is about to happen in summer.

Very excited to be apart of a creation together with other inspiring artists from all around the world.
